Bill T
Two years ago I never thought I would be around for this long . But Thanks to alot of lifestyle changing , And A couple of good Doctors and a Little more Positive attitude I'm still here , Today I go for the sixth month check on my viral Load, Last time around they were at about 1000ppm.
In the very beginning before the Interferon or the Ribivirin or anything else they were at 6 Million , But a year with the meds and alot of praying and meditating ,I am still around . I found it most depressing after six months that the virus came back.
But It taught me a few life lessons , One That you have to try and do what you can for yourself , And there is not any guarantee's even if you do them , Maybe it's Patience ? That is also a possible life lesson , Which when I was younger ,I was very short on , Not that I have that much of them now ! HA !Looking Back I have always been instant Bill, In that I mean I just wanted it yesterday,That's all!
On 3/3/2003 I had my first and dare I say last Liver Biopsy, I have read recently that in Paris they have developed a les intrusive way of gathering the same infowithout taking 18cm.s or 13cm. of your Liver depending on your condition being somewhere between one and Four.
Myself , I am a two , at last check. Hopefully It will remain there for awhile, I have learned quite a lot over the last couple of years , Maybe because I get so tired of people trying to push this under the table like it is some dirty little secret , I actually have a friend that believes that no one should know , His exact words were "They treat you like you have aids or something , " Well My friend it is this kind of thought process that got the aids virus to the point it is today.
We have to get more monies for research and treatment for all the people that are walking around and don't even know that they have this disease! And Believe me there are quite a few , They think that if they have been checked for hepatitis A or B than they are fine I did . No that is incorrect , You have to specify that you want to be tested for Hepatitis C !
